Just a Note...

I've started up a sister blog to this one,  with HINTS, TIPS and TRICKS for making crochet dolls and other general helpful information for crocheters. The name of the blog is OTH-HELP and I've just added the first of many TOPIC PAGES.

The first page is about 'stuffing' your work.   It's by NO means finished,  and if you have a question regarding any of the pages that isn't answered there,  email me at WolfDreamerOTH@gmail.com  and I'll answer your question in email,  and will also add that to the topic page  (or create a new topic page if necessary).

The sister blog (like this one)  is a constant work in progress,  so I'll be adding more helpful information as often as possible.  I have several more pages already in the works...but go ahead and either favorite the blog,  or join the 'friends' list if you want...  to keep up with new pages and announcements as they come up!

I hope these pages on the sister blog will prove helpful to all of you who are new to crochet doll making,  or have been around the block a few times,  but still would like a few helpful hints in your problems areas.

Be sure to post here also with your suggestions for topics also tips for me to add to existing topic pages :D

I love all the help and patters you give and share.
I just don't get the reason why you start a new blog for the help and tips. In my mind they belong completely 'on the mother blog'.
But he, it's your blog, and I'm just a visitor. :-)

Topanga: I can easily explain why I started a separate blog for the 'tips'... I'm a complete organization nut. I wanted to keep this blog PURELY patterns. So that folks don't have to wade through this and that to find what they want.

And... it's easier to manage the files if they're separate. I'll still post a list on this blog of the pages on the other blog (somewhere on the right hand side, like the patterns list)

One other reason: Each blog has only so much space allowed. While I'm not close to 'maxing out' on this blog, the larger it gets, the harder it gets to manage. So keeping them separate makes it easier for me to make sure everything gets where it should be :D

Wow! I didn't know about the different kinds of stuffing! I'm amazed by how much I don't know about stuffing! This is really interesting. Thanks for taking the time out to type it. I look forward to more tips in the future!

Also, may I suggest creating a free Minccino pokemon pattern? I've looked everywhere for a nice Minccino/Chincilla pattern and I can't find one.

P.S. I made my own Jigglypuff, and I LOVE IT! Thanks once again :)

Ugh you crochet Pokemon so wonderfully and all the patterns are right here. And I love Pokemon. Unfortunately, I can't crochet and I cant find ANY sites with knitting instructions for Pokemon. It's all in crochet. >.>
But still your work is really amazing and it may give me the motivation to learn crochet. :P

You are super talented, I TMNT pattern to make a turtle for my son's 5th birthday and he loved it so much, and it came our great thanks to your clear and presice pattern. Thanks!

I would love if you would make up a storm trooper pattern and maybe a darth vadar one, I have seen a few on Etsy but they are nothing special, one on Craftster is pretty good of D.V. but she doesn't have a pattern of it, I have tried making me own, but I cannot get the helmet shape right, well, I hope you do, I enjoy your blog so much!

Thank you got sharing your crochet patterns! I'm a huge fan and have already crocheted a few plushies by using your patterns. Since I'm not the biggest fan of pokemon I'd like to crochet more anime. Could you please make a pattern for anime series like vampire knight?
